For the Outta-This-World Cheese Grit recipe, you need two more ingredients:
Add one cup of milk when you add the eggs; and sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top when you bake.

I think you did that on purpose...kind of like Marie Barone, when she gave Debra her recipe, but left out the most important ingredient, so that Debra's would never be as good as hers. Method to your madness.
