Today Is Our One Year Anniversary!

For our one year anniversary we went to New Orleans...

And stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast! All planned by my very own Mr. Wonderful.

Mr. Wonderful, posing...Wendell needs his smoking jacket and pipe.

Welcome to the parlor... Care for tea dahling?

And here we have the bathing situation. Um, dahling, precious, pumpkin-pie....  where's the shower???

It's been a wonderful year! Happy Anniversary to my sweetie!

Happy Anniversary!!! Hope you had a great one! The place you went looks gorgeous. I'm surprised I didn't see Scarlett O'Hara on the porch.

Happy 1st Anniversary! Planned by your Mr. Wonderful too; now that's just the topping on a cheese cake.

I am so impressed! I don't know if it's more because of Mr. Wonderful's generosity, thoughtfulness, and exquisite taste, or because of the opulence of that place! If you have more pics, I'd love to see them.

Okay, I have to ask - what are the two round tasseled objects in the parlor? Footstools?

And that "bathing situation" - hmmmm...I love the romantic lines, but give me a few modern conveniences in my bath!

Hey, when you're done with Mr. Wonderful, can I have him?

Hey Everybody! Thankyou all for the wonderful anniversary wishes! We had a great time-N'awlins is colorful and charming...and filled with a bunch of ( mostly drunk?) tourists which makes it interesting as well!

Ethelmae--yes, those are footstools in the parlor, to rest my wee weary feet. Haha! And I really am so proud of Mr. Wonderful planning our trip--he'd been a confirmed bachelor for 16 years, barely married before that, and these kinds of things can be very intimidating even for the old married set. But of course, he did so well, my expectations have been set. :) Amazing how easy it is to become extremely demanding...Hope you all have a great day!
