Look At It!

Look at this beautiful, gorgeous, Gulf of Mexico sea water.

The white sandy beaches...
It looks like I'm holding up a disabled man.
 I am.
His brain doesn't work when exposed to large amounts of sunlight.

Well, I just wanted you to see it before the you-know-what-comes.
OIL.
Maybe it won't. I hope it doesn't. But until then, I'm going as often as possible.

By next 'Pondering Tuesday' I'll look a 100 years old. And speak with an accent of unknown origin. You won't be able to see me at all when it's dark outside.   'A fine piece of oiled leather'...
I may regret my 7X magnifying mirror at that point.

P.S. People. I wear sunscreen. I cannot help eet eef ther ees Brazeelian een my blud...
P.S.S. Okay,I made up the 'Brazilian' part. But I do tan easy. Chubby people look better tan, so its a good thing. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
P.S.S.S. Talk to ya Tuesday

Ooooh, you're such a beach! I have been wanting to go to the Gulf for ages. Have fun and tan for me 'cause it just don't happen.

Yeah. Good times. Jealous, because all we have here is the Great Salt Lake, and it has brine shrimp, brine flies and spiders nesting this time of year. Now THAT'S what I call a day at the beach.

Oh how sad with the whole oil catastrophe. It kills me when I think of all the wildlife and beautiful places that are being destroyed.

Meanwhile, you look absolutely gorgeous! Have fun and get a nice tan before the oil invasion.

This makes me so excited for summer. Hopefully the oil doesn't seep into the inland and to our waterparks.

That spill makes me so angry.

Lisa, I read all your posts through the roller skating post. Yes, Barry is amazing on roller skates. I was always so jealous when we were teenagers!
Thanks for keeping us posted on the gulf waters. I'm so jealous that you get to enjoy it all the time.
Love you!!

OMG, that is a beautiful photo of surf!

You're so lucky to tan easily. With my red hair and freckles, my fair skin burns if I'm outside more than 15 minutes. So I look even "chubbier" than I actually am. Like 50 pounds chubbier.

At least, that's what I'm blaming it on.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
